This was my second time here. I had Tommy for a waiter. He was awesome. I thought i was gonna have the beef sangawich. Tommy was truthful and very helpful. I ended up getting the Chicken Parm sangawich. It was very good. Nice size and good flavor. I was seated quickly. The service was good and fast. This place had a big selection of great meals. I had the deep dish pizza on my first visit. It was really good. This place had TVs, plenty of seating, a nice bar area, and plenty of parking. This is a great place to bring friends, a date or family. I would love to have a place like this at home. Unfortunately We do not. I will be coming back on every visit to Chicago. P.S. and Note: There is a surcharge on every ticket. I asked about that. With the price of food changing everyday, this covers the cost and helps offset the increase of different items. It's not much and reasonable. My $20 meal had a charge of .50 cent. Well worth the cost to get a good meal.

I would recommend you get a reservation as the wait for anyone without one was over 1.5 hrs when we went. We had 8 people and everyone was able to select a different steak and seafood option. I enjoyed the grass fed bone in filet as it was cooked to perfection. The sides we selected were nice but the creamed spinach wasn't as good as I've had at other steak houses. The carrot cake was spectacular but huge!

Service is amazing here. The whole staff is wonderful. Unfortunately, my grandmother fell and slipped because the floor was wet. Staff were very apologetic about it. Gibson's is known for having a good selection on good quality beef cuts. They even offer grass fed meat from Australia. They also have a good amount of sides. I found that Gibson's is an old traditional steak house. I would not compare it to Texas Roadhouse or Outback. The quality here is a lot better. It is old and tradition;can tell by the sides they have to offer. Their food is excellent, but it didn't "wow" me. Again, nothing wrong with their food, but I found it alright. They cooked everything right per request. There is so much competition in Chicago so this would not be my number 1 pick. It is quite expensive here as well. I wouldn't think it is worth the price. Everyone seems to love it! It is always busy.

Friday night date night for me and my boyfriend. Walked in without a reservation and snagged prime bar seating. Busy night, great crowd, live music, wonderful ambiance! Had the pleasure of a fantastic bartender, James. He made some excellent drinks. Tried the burger here for the first time and I have to say it's at the top of my list for best burgers in Chicago. The fries...WOW! Perfection! I had two pear martinis and they were delicious with just the right amount of alcohol. Will definitely be back!

Gibsons steakhouse never disappoints! Exceptional service, delicious steaks, and the largest carrot cake slice I've ever seen! The ambience is BUSY. Waiters and bussers rush around and I think I heard about 20 "happy birthdays" in the three hours we sat at dinner. It was noisy and the energy was all over the room! I LOVED the lobster bisque, a small bowl was enough. The bisque is very rich and has a wonderful flavor that I still haven't forgotten about. I ordered the 10 oz filet with the black pepper rub and we shared the sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes. My steak tasted perfect and I almost couldn't finish it. The food is not only tasty but filling as well. We ended the dinner with a "slice" of carrot cake- it was amazing!

This is an excellent steak house in walking distance to the convention center. They have multiple prime steak options. I had a 14 oz filet and it was cooked perfectly. For sides the table shared mushrooms, asparagus, sautéed spinach, and brussel sprouts. The food was timely despite the restaurant zing packed. It was not so loud that we couldn't hold a conversation. The servers were attentive but not intrusive. I'll be back.

Came back again as closest and best from the Hyatt which has no decent restaurant. This time ordered the house salad, 1/2 slab of ribs with a baked potato. Salad was great Ribs came already cut with barbecue sauce. Large baked potato came with sour cream and chives. Bread served as well. Sat at the bar and had very good service again. Will be back next time in Rosemont!

I've been to all the top steakhouses in Houston, Texas, and around the USA and I gotta put Gibson's up there with my favorite steakhouse I've ever been to. First off our waitress Joei was simply amazing. I hope I spelled her name right. She was top notch. Great personality and simply did an outstanding job! Food: the WR signature cut was made to absolute perfection! Each bite was full of flavor and simply perfect. The perfect steak. What more could you ask for. All of the sides were great ! The dessert was amazing and massive! They are doing it right here at Gibson's. This will be my go to spot for steak when I am in Chicago. Easy five star review. Management, please recognize the great job Joei is doing. She is a top notch professional! We will be back soon.
